Three ways to work together — each built around one goal: making your business look exactly as good as it actually is. Pick the engagement that fits where you are right now.
The complete visual language of your business — built from the ground up, or rebuilt from scratch. This is what most clients come here for.
Most businesses don't have a logo problem. They have a perception problem. Your brand is the first thing a potential client sees — and it's forming an opinion about you before you say a word.
Brand identity work at Chicago Brand Studio starts with a deep discovery process: understanding your business, your clients, your competitors, and what you're actually trying to say. Design comes after that — never before.
The result isn't just a logo. It's a complete visual system — every element speaking the same language, across every touchpoint your audience encounters.
Typically 2–5 weeks depending on the package. The Foundation package moves fastest (2–3 weeks). The full Identity System runs 3–5 weeks. Brand + Website is 5–8 weeks. Timelines depend heavily on how quickly you provide feedback at each stage — the faster you review, the faster we move.
That's fine — we offer brand refresh work that preserves equity you've already built while modernizing and extending the system. We'll evaluate what's worth keeping and what's holding you back. This is usually scoped separately — bring it up on your audit call.
No. The questionnaire and mood board process is specifically designed for that. Most clients don't know exactly what they want — that's normal and expected. What matters is that you know your business. We handle the translation into visual language.
Yes. Book a free 15-minute Brand Audit call — we'll look at your current brand together and walk through exactly what the process looks like for your specific business. No obligation, no pitch.
A brand without a website is a business card with nowhere to send people. We build sites that look like the brand — because they are.
Most websites fail not because they're ugly — but because they're not connected to a brand. The colors are off. The fonts don't match the business cards. The copy sounds like a different company than the logo suggests.
When we build your website, we're building an extension of your brand system — not a separate project that just happens to use the same logo. Every page, every section, every call to action is aligned with who you are and what you want people to do.
We build in Squarespace — the right tool for most established service businesses and product brands. It's fast, maintainable, and you'll be able to update it yourself without a developer on retainer.
For most of our clients — established service businesses, consultants, agencies, boutique brands — Squarespace is the right tool. It's fast to build, easy to maintain without a developer, reliable hosting, and produces beautiful results when done right. WordPress is powerful but overkill for most businesses and requires ongoing maintenance. Webflow is excellent but has a steep learning curve for self-management. If your needs are more complex, we'll tell you on the audit call.
We provide copywriting direction — structure, messaging hierarchy, what to say on each page and in what order. Full copywriting (writing every word from scratch) is available as an add-on. Most clients provide their own copy based on our direction, which keeps the cost down and keeps the voice authentically yours.
Yes. If you're on Squarespace already, we can work within your existing site or start fresh — whichever makes more sense. If you're on another platform, we typically migrate to Squarespace. We'll assess your current site on the audit call and tell you what the fastest, most cost-effective path looks like.
Yes — the Brand + Website package ($9,500) combines the full Brand Identity System with a complete website build at a bundled rate. It's the most efficient way to do both, since the brand and the site are designed simultaneously rather than sequentially.
One focused day. One problem solved. For businesses that need a specific deliverable fast — without the full project timeline.
A Design Day is a dedicated, focused engagement where we block an entire business day for your project and deliver a finished, usable asset by end of day.
It's designed for business owners who know exactly what they need, have a clear direction, and just need someone with serious design skills to execute it quickly and well. No months-long project. No back-and-forth over weeks. One day, one deliverable, done.
Design Days require a pre-session intake form and a 30-minute prep call the week before — so when the day starts, we hit the ground running with zero time wasted on discovery.
This is not a discounted service. It's a premium offering for clients who value speed and focus over extended process.
You can book consecutive Design Days for larger projects. Two days covers more complex deliverables — a full logo system, a multi-page document, or a brand refresh with collateral. If your project scope is better suited to a full engagement, we'll tell you honestly on the prep call rather than having you spend on days that won't get you where you need to go.
No — you don't need to be on call all day. You'll receive a mid-day check-in (usually around noon) with a progress preview and any questions. You provide feedback on that, and we finalize and deliver by end of business. Being reasonably available by email or text for quick responses helps things move faster.
Probably not. Design Days work best when you know the deliverable you need and have a reasonable sense of direction. If you're starting from scratch on your brand or need strategic positioning work first, the Brand Identity System is the right path. The prep call will help determine which is the right fit.
Usually 2–4 weeks out depending on current availability. Book early. Once a date is reserved, it's yours — we don't double-book Design Days.
"I barely gave her anything to go off of, and she created a design that was really great. Everything went according to plan — in fact, she finished ahead of time."
Devin Angelet · Artist & Psychic Reader · Sedona, AZA note on availability
