B. McAdams has been building brand identities since 2019 — for founders, law firms, nonprofits, restaurants, tech startups, musicians, real estate companies, and everyone in between. 300+ projects. 5.0 on Clutch. Every single one led personally.
B. McAdams spent nearly two decades in the music industry — artist management, venue marketing, event production, and brand work for artists and companies across the space. That career taught something most brand designers never learn in school: how to read an audience, how to build something people feel, and how to make a brand do real work in the real world.
In June 2019, that experience became a design studio. What started in Colorado grew into a 300+ project track record with a perfect 5.0 on Clutch. In 2025, the studio moved to Chicago — because this is where the clients are who are ready to stop looking like a startup and start looking like the company they've become.
I truly feel like I hit the lottery. She understood my challenges and had a path forward. I actually found myself missing the process when it was over.Nicole Stenclik
When a potential client lands on your website without knowing you, your brand is doing the talking. When someone gets your business card at a networking event, your brand is making the first impression. Most businesses underestimate how much revenue they lose to this — not to bad marketing, not to poor salesmanship, but to a brand that signals something smaller than what the business actually is.
The work at Chicago Brand Studio starts with understanding your business deeply before a single design decision is made. The questionnaire isn't a formality. The mood board isn't decoration. The strategy session isn't a box to check. They're the foundation that makes everything that follows actually work. The goal is never a beautiful logo. The goal is a brand that makes your business impossible to underestimate.
These aren't happy accidents. They're the result of a process designed specifically to prevent the two things that make brand projects miserable: unclear direction and endless revisions. The questionnaire forces clarity before design begins. The mood board ensures you and the studio see the same vision before a file is opened. And every project gets the same personal attention — no junior team, no outsourcing, no templates pulled from a drawer.
She got it from the start — and knew things I would love that I didn't even realize I wanted. The entire process was fun and I never felt rushed.
An absolute personal touch that cannot be duplicated or faked. The quality is real, the talent is real.
She is a true artistic visionary. She derives very colorful and deliberate imagery from what can feel like the loosest of visions.
